Pizza Carbonara

Ingredients:

· Pizza crust
· ½ pound sliced bacon (cooked and crumbled)
· 1 ½ cups Monterey Jack cheese (shredded)
· ¼ cup parmesan cheese (grated)
· 3 green onions (thinly sliced)
· ¼ teaspoon chicken bouillon granules
· 1 cup milk
· 1 tablespoon butter or margarine
· ⅓ cup onion (finely chopped)
· 2 garlic cloves (minced)
· 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
· ⅛ teaspoon white pepper



Directions:

1. Unroll pizza crust. Build up edges slightly. Bake at 425 degrees F for 7-10 minutes (or until lightly browned).
2. Saute onion and garlic in butter until tender.
3. Stir in flour and pepper until blended. Gradually add milk and bouillon.
4. Bring to a boil. Cook and stir for 2 minutes (until thickened).
5. Reduce heat. Stir in parmesan cheese.
6. Spread over hot crust.
7. Sprinkle with bacon, Monterey Jack cheese and green onions.
8. Bake at 425 degrees F for 8-12 minutes (until cheese is melted).
